This unique flipper is named after Barbara Kopetski, aka Barb Wire, played in the 1996 movie by Pamela Anderson. In the movie, Ms. Kopetski is the owner of the Hammerhead nightclub in Steel Harbour. She is a curvy freelance mercenary and bounty hunter to bring in extra cash. And at the start of the movie she goes undercover as a hooker to collect a bounty. Here is a “romantic” clip to refresh your memory!
Like Barb Wire, this sexy knife has curves (Click here to see what I mean) In all the right places. And it has a hook for opening the blade. Thus the Kopetski Hooker!
The frame lock design with titanium and zirconium Damascus (Zircuti) ensures that it is strong yet lightweight. It is always ready and the ceramic bearings ensure that the RWL34 blade deploys at the flick of a wrist. It is not automatic, nor spring-assisted, but instead, the hook catches one’s clothing to fling the blade open.
