What must I do to participate in the show?

 

For the Autumn Show, we are planning all the same stuff as we did for the last year shows as well as the addition of the new PRO Plan. We will do additional marketing work for people who choose that option.

Choose between our Basic Plan or our brand new ‘Pro’ plan which features new benefits that are assured to help you sell more.

Step 2: Choose a Category.

Select which one of the below categories you want to participate in. You can choose more then one.

Step 3: Follow Our Best Practice Guide.

From last years show, we can absolutely prove that the knifemakers who did the most promotion of their own work, also are the ones that got the most sales. We have put together a guide to help you get the best out of the show for this year.

Step 4: Submit Application.

Submit the following documents: Biography, knives you want on the show, knives you have made in the past, so we can show many good examples of your work, contact details and links to your online presence.

  • The best pictures and video of your knives. The better your pictures the better your chance to get a sale.
  • Top, bottom, left side, the right side of each knife.
  • Note: please do not add any text on your photos. Also do not make a collage. Send your photos individually without any text on.
  • The price you want in Rands and in US Dollars.
  • Description of each knife: see example here.

We cannot change these prices at the last minute. Make sure your price compensates for the exchange rate.

    Steel - Lohmann Lo-R4528 stainless steel
    Overall length - 190mm
    Liners - 6AL4V titanium grade 5 and anodized in the colour of your choice
    Pocket Clip - 6AL4V titanium grade 5 and anodized in the colour of your choice
    Handles - Black G10; a fibreglass based composite which is very tough and durable.
    The knife runs on phosphor-bronze washers
    Price: R3 800. Courier costs must be added.

  • We want to showcase many good examples of your work to prospective buyers.
