About

Knifemakers.co.za is a free directory of South African custom knifemakers, run by Andre Erasmus, a full-time knifemaker in Klerksdorp and member of the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa.

It exists for one reason: to put people who want a hand-made knife in touch with the people who make them. There's no shop and no commission. Every profile has the maker's own contact details, and you deal with them directly — about price, availability, delivery and commissions.

How listings are checked

Each profile shows the date its details were last checked against the maker's own public pages. Profiles marked as started from the guild register have not yet been claimed by the maker; those show only links the maker publishes themselves.

Questions?

The FAQ explains why the site exists and what it does for knifemakers, suppliers, clubs and shows. The user manual shows every screen.
