Rates
Rates are in rand, per calendar month. Knifemakers.co.za is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. To book, or to ask anything, WhatsApp Andre or email andre@andreknives.co.za: tell us which pages you want and for how long.

What is included
We build your banner from your words and logo, in your own colour, with a button to your website or WhatsApp. One free wording change a month. Every banner is marked Advertisement, and you get a monthly report.
Terms
Invoiced monthly in advance by EFT; cancel with a month's notice. Rates are reviewed every six months, and booked rates are held for the booked period.
What a banner looks like
Your business name or logo, a few words, and one button that goes to your own website or WhatsApp. You send us the words and (if you like) a logo; we set it up. Two styles, in your own colour:

- Home page: Under the search box and knife-type buttons.
- Maker directory and province pages: Between the makers with photos and the guild-register listings.
- Maker pages: under the contact buttons: Active, claimed makers only.
- Maker pages: after the work and story: Active, claimed makers only.
- Suppliers page: At the top, under the heading.
- Courses page: At the top, under the heading.
- Guilds & shows page: At the top, under the heading.
- Journal and articles: On the journal index and at the end of each article.
Our rules
- Every banner says Advertisement.
- A banner never changes where a maker or supplier appears in a list. Paying does not buy a better place in the directory.
- No banners on the pages of guild-register listings that nobody has claimed yet, or on in-memoriam pages.
- No pop-ups and no auto-playing sound or video.
- We may refuse or remove an advert for anything illegal in South Africa, or for claims we cannot stand behind.
- Knifemakers.co.za is run by Andre Erasmus, who also makes knives. His own listing is treated like anyone else's and gets no free banner space.
Reports
Every advertiser gets a monthly report: how many times the banner was seen, how many times it was tapped, and the tap rate.
