In Danie’s own words
I am a certificated professional Mechanical Engineer with a Fitting and Turning as well as Tool and Dye making trade. I am a Stock removal knife maker. I have milling machines, lathes and many grinding machines to make my knives. I harden and temper all my blades myself and I have a Rockwell hardness tester as well to verify hardness. I make my own leather sheaths, and I also have a 22 Watt diode laser and 100 Watt Fiber laser for all engraving requirements. All my knives come with an MDF presentation box and Certificate of Origin. I started making knives in 2024. I can make most knife shapes that will fit in my forge. I have an Excel based program that can be used for pricing of your project.
