In Jaco’s own words
I am a custom knife maker with a background in construction. My journey into knife making began during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I attempted to make my very first knife. From there, I gradually developed my skills, expanded my knowledge, and refined my craft.
After relocating to Hartbeespoort following an accident, I came to the attention of Neels van den Berg, who became my mentor. His guidance, support, and determination to help me succeed have played a significant role in shaping my journey and bringing me to where I am today.
I specialise primarily in folding knives and fixed-blade hunting knives, combining practical experience, craftsmanship, and a passion for creating quality blades.
